Volleyball Bundesliga - the negotiations have started

January 28th 2022 has definitely changed the Austrian Volleyball Sport - eight clubs of the men's Bundesliga have founded their own association to organize their competition themselves in the future. MK Consulting GmbH was engaged as a consultant for this purpose. In an exclusive interview with the trade medium "Sportbusiness.at" our managing director Markus Kraetschmer explains important parameters for the upcoming negotiations.
In November 2021, a representative of a club approached Markus Kraetschmer and asked whether MK Consulting GmbH would like to contribute its expertise on this topic. The first analysis quickly showed that the cooperation between the association and the clubs does not work at eye level. Again and again it was to be heard that "over our heads" decisions are made.
